2024-25 Pre-K Registration Opens April 3rd.
Welcome to MVISD Pre-K & Kindergarten! We are so excited to meet you!
To be eligible for pre-kindergarten in the 2023-24 school year, students must be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2023, provide a valid proof of residence at the time of your application and meet one of the Pre-K qualifiers listed below. MVISD does NOT offer a Pre-K program for three year olds.
Pre-K and Kinder roundup steps:
1. Complete the online enrollment application: Enrollment Application
If you have a student already enrolled with MVISD. Please log into your skyward account and click the Enroll a New Student to MVISD tab. The enrollment forms will say 2022-23 school year as the school year is not over yet.
2. Schedule your appointment: Pre-k/ Kinder round up appt calendar.
Appointments are scheduled on Central Time Zone. Please ensure your device is on the correct time zone. You must schedule one appointment per child and allow a minimum of 30 minutes per appointment.

If your online application is not complete at the time of your appointment, your appointment will be canceled. It will take a minimum of two weeks to process your Pre-K application once you have completed steps 1 and 2.
The child's biological parent or legal guardian must be the one to come to the registration center to complete the registration and submit the following documents:
- Child's birth certificate
- Child's social security card
- Child's immunization records
- ID of parent / guardian (picture ID must be current, expired IDs will not be accepted)
- Active military ID (if applicable)
- Proof of residence stating physical address and / or service address (light bill, water bill, property tax statement, new buyer's contract or new lease agreement - may not be more than two months old). The bill must be in parent's name, current, show usage and state service address matching student enrollment application. Expired, past due or disconnection notices will not be accepted.

The child of an Active Duty member of the Armed Forces of the United States. Activated or mobilized uniformed members of the Texas National Guard (army or air guard) or activated or mobilized members of the reserve components of the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or Coast Guard who have eligible children residing in Texas. |
Proper Military ID for verification

The child of a member of the Armed Forces of the United States, including the State Military Forces or a reserve component of the Armed Forces, who was injured or killed while serving on Active Duty. |

In or have been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) following an adversary hearing held as provided by Section 262.201, Family Code | Proper CPS paperwork. |
