General Information
Drop Off
Students may begin being dropped off at 7:15 in the morning, Students are not allowed to be dropped off before 7:15.
Parents will not be allowed to walk their child into school, this includes the First Day of school.
Car Riders
We will have 2 drop-off locations this year.
- Pre-Kinder, Kinder, and 1st grade students will be dropped off in the front of the school.
- 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be dropped off at the Gym
- Parents that will be dropping off more than 1 student will drop off their children at the Gym.
- A map of drop off locations will be generated, is attached below, and distributed before school starts.
- Students will be left with staff at their designated drop off locations. Staff will be on duty to get students to their classroom. Parents will not be permitted to come in the building.
- Parents will need to drive through the pick up/drop off lanes to drop off their children.
Walkers/Biking
- Students must enter the building on their own.
- Parents will not be permitted to come in the building.
Bus Riders
- Students will have assigned seats
- Buses will be sanitized.
- Students cannot board a bus with a fever.
Please do not send your child to school if they are unwell. Most importantly do not send your child with a fever. Children need to be fever free for 24 hours.
Students will report directly to their classroom in the morning. Should the student want to eat breakfast, they will do so in the cafeteria.
Dismissal-Pick up
We will be utilizing 2 pick-up locations this year.
- Pre-Kinder, Kinder, and 1st grade students will be picked up in the front of the school.
- 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be picked up at the Gym
- Parents that will be picking up more than 1 student will pick up their children at the Gym.

- Parents will need to drive through the pick up lanes to pick up their children
- Parents are asked to remain in their vehicle.
- We will be utilizing a new Dismissal tag system for car pickup, walkers, and bike riders. A parent or Guardian will be issued a tag/Dismissal number at designated dates for their child/children. These tags should be clipped/latched on the students backpacks and the decal hanging from the mirror for staff members to view. Only individuals with the appropriate car tag numbers that matches the students tag numbers on their backpack will be allowed to pick-up. This system will also will include walkers/bike riders.
- Parents can begin lining up in their vehicles at 2:50 pm.
- Please complete the 22-23 Student Dismissal Form to assist our staff.
Dismissal Tag Check-out dates
Monday August 8th: 1:00-4:00
Tuesday August 9th: 8:00-9:30; 1:00-4:00
Wednesday August 10th: 1:00-4:00
Thursday August 11th: 8:00-11:30; 1:00-3:30
Friday August 12th: 8:00-12:00; 2:00-3:30
Monday August 15th: 7:30-9:00; 1:00-3:30
If you are not issued a car tag during these times, you will need to get one on the first day of school if you will be picking up your child. All parents/guardians are encouraged to get their issued tag during one of the days listed above.
No car/parent will be allowed to pick up any students without the proper/matching decal for their students. In the event you are picking up a student and do not have the proper car tag, you will be required to report to the office and show correct identification to pick up the student. If a tag is lost or stolen, please notify the school immediately. It is the guardians/parents responsibility to purchase a new set.
Sign Up for Transportation-Please read the information from the Transportation Department
All students who will need transportation and meet the eligibility requirements
for the 2022-2023 school year will be required to register for transportation.
If you live within two miles of your assigned campus or live outside of the district boundaries, bus transportation is not available. We will provide transportation to and from the address registered with the district. Please report any address changes to the PEIMS office in order to update the route information in transportation. Please complete the bus application below as no students will be allowed to ride the bus without completing the application. Transportation staff will be available during orientation only for those that have completed the application.

We recommend a responsible party or family member be at the stop to receive students grades pre-k through second. A judgement call may be made to return your student(s) to the campus if it is deemed hazardous and someone is not there to accept them. Please have your student(s) at their stop five (5) minutes prior to stop time in order to board the bus. Parents should read your child’s student handbook regarding transportation.
Lunch
- Meals will no longer be free to all students (Breakfast $1.50, Lunch $2.75). Please make sure to apply for Free/Reduced meals at the following link: https://family.titank12.com/
- Please make sure to complete the Socioeconomic during the registration process as this information can provide assistance to students in academics as well.
- Students will be issued ID cards to scan for breakfast/lunch and in the Library. Please provide your child with a lanyard if possible. The ID card can stay at school to help prevent students from losing them.
- Parents and visitors will not be permitted to eat lunch on campus at this time.
- Custodians will be on duty to clean and disinfect between lunches.
