Mrs. Lorenz was named Lone Finalist on April 1, 2026. Following the required 21-day waiting period, the Board formally approved her contract at the April 27 Board Meeting. She will officially begin her role as Superintendent of Medina Valley ISD on June 1, 2026.

Families across Medina Valley ISD gathered at elementary campuses for a fun and engaging Pre-K & Kinder Roundup, giving future students a chance to explore classrooms, meet staff, and get excited for the school year ahead.

Students from across Medina Valley ISD came together for a fun-filled afternoon of races and activities during the district’s Special Olympics, celebrating determination, sportsmanship, and school pride.

Medina Valley families brought their veteran family members to join in the celebrations — walking alongside students, waving flags, and sharing in a beautiful tribute to service and sacrifice.
