Castroville Elementary educators earn outstanding PLC Team recognition castroville plc Show Transcript my favorite part about school is probably like recess and learning about new things my favorite thing about school is when we learn about the weather in science or like when we're doing the um circuit for I'm doing this math program I'm I'm doing sixth grade math I'm learning how to like solve 2 step equations it's an opportunity for us to meet as a team to go over data from our grade level to understand what we need to focus on moving forward I think the PLC is important to help our students continue to be successful it helps us to move the students from like say meets the Masters or helping our students just continue to improve overall with the data we learn what the students are doing and how they're working through the problems particularly for math so we can start to understand that while they may understand the content itself where the information isn't what they're missing but the types of problems are where they're tripping up seeing the aha moment and students is the most rewarding thing as a teacher and it's just exciting to see their confidence build throughout the year and seeing a make a shift of fully understanding and mastering what you've taught them when we're in that PLC and and we get strategies and we come back in and we're able to use a strategies in the classroom it's nice to be able to see that light bulb go off its 1 of those times where you get to sit back and it's like this is why I do it I do this is why I'm here and the kids just truly did understand at the moment and so it was nice to see
